Tamarind rice / Puliyodhara

Puliyodhara

This recipe never fails me for instant lunch or long travel. I always store paste and powders ready for 2 weeks. Saves me from morning tension ;)

TAMARIND RICE - quick recipe

Ingredients:

  1. Pulikaichal paste - 4 tsp
  2. Cooked rice - 1 cup
  3. Idly sambar powder - 2 tsp
  4. Puliyodharai powder - 2 tsp (optional)

Recipe:

  • Mix pulikaichal paste with the cooked rice thoroughly. 
  • Add both the powders and mix.
  • Since required salt is added in paste no need for any additional.
