Puliyodharai powder

Ingredients:


  1. Pepper - 1 cup
  2. Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 cup
  3. Red chillies- 5
  4. Oil - to fry

Method:

  • Add oil in pan and roast the ingredients
  • Until Fenugreek turns little brown
  • Allow to cool and grind
  • Store in airtight container

I make this powder to reduce the spice and to cool the body from burning sensation from tamarind and chillies .

This powder is optional but it would definitely add taste to tamarind rice
