Stuffed Cabbage Leaf Rolls

Stuffed cabbage leaf rolls are a nutritious and healthy meal option for any age. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Ingredients:

  • Cabbage leaves - few
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Carrot - 1
  • Corn kernels - 1
  • Lemon juice - 1
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Potato - 1
  • Butter - 2 tsp to toast
  • Oil - 3 tsp to sauté

  • Cut cabbage leaves to two
  • Steam the leave one by one for 2 mins and drain water
  • Boil potato with turmeric and salt
  • drain water
  • Saute chopped onion until it becomes transparent
  • Add tomato + carrot + corn with salt and chilly powder
  • Sauté until it becomes mushy
  • Mix the potato and sautéed ingredients
  • Squeeze lemon juice
  • Bring them to thick consistency
  • Stuff the stuffing mix inside cabbage leaf
  • Roll the leaf completely

  • Stem them for 10 mins or toast them with butter both sides
  • Serve hot :)
