Ingredients:
- Beetroot- 1
- Mustard seeds- 1/4 tsp
- Oil - to fry
- Salt- to taste
- Turmeric powder - 1/ 4 tsp
- Jeera , Pepper, coriander seeds, red chilly, hing- Each 1 tsp ( grind)
- Coconut - 1/2 tsp desiccated ( optional )
- Coriander- few to garnish
Method:
- In a pan, add oil and mustard seeds to splutter
- Add finely chopped beetroot
- Add little water and keep frying
- When the beetroot gets soft, add salt, turmeric, grind powder
- Fry for 3 mins and then add coconut
- Garnish with coriander chopped and serve
