Beetroot fry

Veg fry - beetroot fry

Ingredients:


  1. Beetroot- 1
  2. Mustard seeds- 1/4 tsp
  3. Oil - to fry
  4. Salt- to taste
  5. Turmeric powder - 1/ 4 tsp
  6. Jeera , Pepper, coriander seeds, red chilly, hing- Each 1 tsp ( grind)
  7. Coconut - 1/2 tsp desiccated ( optional )
  8. Coriander- few to garnish

Method:

  • In a pan, add oil and mustard seeds to splutter
  • Add finely chopped beetroot
  • Add little water and keep frying
  • When the beetroot gets soft, add salt, turmeric, grind powder
  • Fry for 3 mins and then add coconut
  • Garnish with coriander chopped and serve
