Rice Kanji / Rice Porridge

Ingredients:

  1. Rice Kanji powder - 1 tsp
  2. Water - 1 tumbler/ approx 250 ml
  3. Salt to taste

Method

    • In a pan, add water and kanji powder
    • Stir well so that it does not make lumps
    • Switch on the stove in medium flame
    • Add salt
    • keep stirring (It thickens and soft to touch)
    • Switch off 
Uses
  1. For babies as daily meal
  2. For sick, when there is temperature, loose stools etc ( Of course with doctor's approval)
  3. For fuzzy kids, can make it watery and serve them in tumbler
  4. Can also be served with butter milk
