Ingredients:
- Raw rice - 1 cup
- Moong dhall - 1/4 cup
- Jeera - 4 tsp
- Pepper - 4 tsp( grinded so kids don't ignore them)
- Ghee - 6 tsp
- Cashews - 1/4 cup
- Curry leaves few
- Water- 3 cups
- Salt to taste
Method:
In a fry pan:- Add ghee 2 tsp
- Add jeera and curry leaves
- Switch off when they splutter
In cooker:
- In a pressure cooker add raw rice+ moong dhal+ 3 cups water.
- Add salt
- Add fried jeera, curry leaves
- Add grind pepper
- Pressure cook for 3 whistles
Again in fry pan:
- Add ghee tap and fry cashew until golden color
- Mash the rice, an dhal
- Add remaining ghee and cashews
- Serve when hot
