Bottle Gourd fry


Vegetable fry - bottle gourd fry

Ingredients:

  1. Bottle gourd -1
  2. Salt- per taste
  3. Mix for Bottle gourd fry powder - 2 tsp
  4. Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
  5. Curry leaves- few
  6. Thalipu vadagam - 1tsp
  7. Oil - to fry ( little extra than usual vegetables)

Method

  • Add oil in pan
  • Once heated, add mustard seeds and curry leaves
  • After seeds splutter, add cut bottle gourd
  • When 5 mins, add salt
  • After 1 min, add thalipu vadagam
  • Keep frying until it becomes soft
  • Add powder
  • Switch off

This can be eaten with rice and also as side dish. Anyone disliking bottle gourd will start eating if they could taste this. Taste guaranteed!
