Rava Dosa

Quick dosa recipe without soaking or grinding :) completely healthy recipe made in few minutes.

Goes well with sambar or chutneys

Rava Dosa
  • Sooji - 1 cup
  • Wheat flour - 1/4 cup
  • Rice Flour - 1/4 cup
  • Onion -1
  • Curd - 1tsp
  • Tempering:
    • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
    • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
    • Pepper - 1tsp
    • Hing - a pinch or 1/4 tsp
    • Red chillies - 1
    • Oil - 1 tsp for tempering and 1/2 tsp per dosa

Recipe

  • Mix all the flours with salt and water
  • Temper the ingredients until they splutter
  • Add the spluttered ingredients
  • Add curd
  • Add onions chopped
  • Mix well
  • Add water if required to make it little runny
  • In dosa pan, pour them from little height
  • Batter spread on its own
  • Apply oil around
  • Allow to cook until no raw batter seen
  • Turn other side and cook for a min or two
  • Remove from pan and serve :)
