Ingredients
- Onion -1
- Tomatoes- 3 (big)
- Butter- 1 small cup
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
- Red chilly powder- 1/4 tsp
- Salt - per taste
- Kasoori methi crushed - 1 tsp
- Paneer - 1 full box
- Cashews- 2 tsp
- Bay leaf- 1
- Cinnamon stick - small
- Sugar - 2 tsp
Method
- In a pan, add butter
- Add onions, tomatoes and cashews
- Add salt
- Add Ginger garlic, garam masala, red chilly powder
- Saute until tomatoes become mashy
- Allow it to cool and then grind to smooth paste
- In a pan, add little more butter
- Add cinnamon sticks, bay leaf
- Add the paste
- Allow it to boil
- Add crushed kasoori methi
- Add sugar
- Add a tsp of butter before switching off
To get a restaurant style touch, add cream instead of butter after switching off
