Ingredients:
- Urad dhal - 1cup
- Fenugreek seeds - 1 tsp
- Rice flour- 2 tsp
- Onion - 1
- Coriander leaves - 1 small bunch
- Green chilly -1
- Salt - to taste
- Oil- to fry
- Wash and soak dhal for 3 hours
- Grind to fine coarse with minimum water
- Transfer the contents to a bowl
- Add chopped onions, chilly, coriander
- Add rice powder (makes vada crispy)
- Add salt
- Heat oil
- make vadas
Tips:
- I use tea filter upside down to make fluffy vadas with whole inside
- Batter can be stored after step3
