Chutney is a side dish part of daily routine for breakfast/dinner. Thinking what chutney to make is another big task :) Here are the list of chutneys with all possible combinations.
1. Raw Mango mint chutney
Ingredients:
- Raw Mango slices - 1 cup
- Mint - 1/2 cup
- ginger - one or two small piece
- Salt - per taste
- Green chillies- 3
- Oil - to temper
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Method:
- Grind mango, ginger, mint and chillies with little water
- Add salt
- Temper with spluttered mustard seeds, curry leaves
2. Raw Mint chutney
Ingredients:
- Mint - 1 cup
- Salt - per taste
- Green chillies- 2
- Oil - to temper
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Red chillies - 1
Method:
- Grind mint and chillies with little water
- Add salt
- Temper with spluttered mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chillies
3. Mint chutney without coconut
This chutney can be stored in air tight container for a week
Ingredients:
- Mint - 1 cup
- Tomato - 1
- Salt - per taste
- Green chillies- 2
- Oil - to temper
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Method:
- Fry mint, chillies and tomato until the raw smell goes
- Grind with little water
- Add salt
- Temper with spluttered mustard seeds, curry leaves
4. Mint chutney with coconut
Ingredients:
- Mint - 1 cup
- Tomato - 1
- Coconut - 1/4 cup
- Salt - per taste
- Green chillies- 4
- Oil - to temper
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Method:
- Fry mint, chillies and tomato until the raw smell goes
- Allow to cool
- Grind with coconut and little water
- Add salt
- Temper with spluttered mustard seeds, curry leaves
5. Coriander chutney
Ingredients:
- Coriander - 1 cup
- Salt - per taste
- Green chillies- 3
- Oil - to temper
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Red chillies - 1
- Curry leaves - few
Method:
- Grind coriander and chillies with little water
- Add salt
- Temper with spluttered mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chillies
6. Peanut chutney
Ingredients:
- Peanut - 1 cup
- Salt - per taste
- red chillies- 3
- Oil - to temper
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - few
Method:
- Fry peanuts until it turns crispy ( fry without oil)
- Grind with little water and red chillies
- Add salt
- Temper with spluttered mustard seeds, curry leaves
7. Peanut chutney with garlic
Ingredients:
- Peanut - 1 cup
- garlic - 2 cloves
- Salt - per taste
- red chillies- 3
- Oil - to temper
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - few
Method:
- Fry peanuts until it turns crispy ( fry without oil)
- Grind with little water, garlic and red chillies
- Add salt
- Temper with spluttered mustard seeds, curry leaves
8. Plain Coconut Chutney
Plain coconut chutney has a mild sweet taste to it.
Ingredients:
- Coconut desiccated - half cup
- Salt - per taste
- Green chillies- 2
- Oil - to temper
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Red chillies - 1
- Curry leaves - few
Method:
- Grind coconut and chillies with little water
- Add salt
- Temper with spluttered mustard seeds, red chillies and curry leaves
9. Coriander coconut chutney
This chutney is our all time favorite chutney.. it tastes so yummy
Ingredients:
- Coconut desiccated - half cup
- Fried gram - 1/4 cup
- Coriander - 1 cup
- Salt - per taste
- Green chillies- 3
- Oil - to temper
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Red chillies - 1
- Curry leaves- few
Method:
- Grind coconut, coriander dhal and chillies with little water
- Add salt
- Temper with spluttered mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chillies

10. Coconut chutney with fried gram
Ingredients:
- Coconut desiccated - half cup
- Fried gram - 1/4 cup
- Salt - per taste
- Green chillies- 2
- Oil - to temper
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Red chillies - 1
- Curry leaves
Method:
- Grind coconut, dhal and chillies with little water
- Add salt
- Temper with spluttered mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chillies
