Ingredients:
Method 1: (For babies over 6 months & for sick)
- Rice(Boiled) - 1 cup
- Fried bengal gram - 1/2 cup
Method 2: (For regular use)
- Rice(Boiled) - 1 cup
- Fried bengal gram - 1/2 cup
- pepper - 1 tsp
- jeera - 1 tsp
Cleansing rice
- Wash rice and drain
- Spread the rice evenly in a cloth that allows to dry ( minimum 30 mins)
Method 1:
- In an empty pan, add the rice and fry till aroma ( do not make it brown)
- Allow it to cool
- In mixer, add rice and fried gram
- Grind finely till smooth
- Allow it to cool and store in an air tight container
Method 2:
- In an empty pan, add the rice
- Add pepper, jeera and fry till aroma ( do not make it brown)
- Allow it to cool
- In mixer, add fried content with fried gram and grind finely till smooth
- Allow it to cool and store in an air tight container
Note:
This powder can be stored for months together.
