Following a nutrition rich diet is mandatory for a healthy living.
Low carb and high protein is the key to retain good health.
Few tips that we could follow regularly.. I will write more to the same page and please bookmark :)

1. Eat less carb ( rice/ chapathi/roti)
2. Include more vegetable serving
3. Avoid cooking oil instead use olive oil, butter, ghee
4. Add more protein to everyday diet. If you are a vegetarian add more almonds, Quinoa, avacado etc
5. Include more Omega-3 like avacado, olive oil, Walnuts etc
6. Adult need less than 5g salt per day. Avoid buying processed food that contains salt. Reduce salt in your diet as well
7 .(* Mandatory*) - 5 to 6 litres water every day
8. Absolutely Zero sugar in any form brown or white sugar is sugar
9. No maida ( refined wheat)

I personally follow this myself and for my family everyday. Start with a small change and it's possible to switch to healthier living sooner..
